Workers Compensation

One of the first things you have to prove in an on-the-job injury is that your injury occurred during the course and scope of your employment or in furthering the employer’s interest.  For example, the law has gone back and forth over the years regarding whether someone was considered injured on the job when going to use the restroom while on a construction job.  When you first get injured, you may need a lawyer to get witnesses’ statements, photos, etc. in order to ensure you get past this hurdle.
